RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist project planning, scheduling & logistics.
• Support estimating, quantity takeoffs, and cost tracking
• Perform on site job scoping.
• Quantity survey, quantity review and system input.
• Set up and maintenance of control logs (i.e. RFIs, Cost Summaries, Daily Activity Reports, etc.)
• Subcontract coordination.
• Internal and external resource planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Organized and self-motivated.
• Journeyman certification in a related trade (Welding, Steamfitting) or equivalent technical background (Construction, Civil or Mechanical Engineering Tech.) is an asset.
• Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications specifically Word, Excel and MS Projects.
• Computer proficiency is an asset – training is available for the right candidate.
• Previous experience in similar role with exposure to oilfield construction would be considered an asset.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and structural steel drawings.
• Knowledge of material specifications.
• Related industry safety training tickets in good standing

Bonnyville Welding is currently seeking an experienced labourer to join our team. This position offers excellent hands-on experience and long-term growth opportunities within the trade. Must have oilfield experience.

Duties:

• Measure, cut, and prepare piping materials
• Threading, bolt up, fit up piping
• Assist journeymen with system layout assembly, and installation

• Run picker trucks and pull trailers
• Maintain tools and ensure work areas remain organized
• Follow all site safety standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Registered in or eligible for a pipefitting apprenticeship program
• Basic understanding of piping systems and related tools

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small crew while assisting with day-to-day field operations.

Bonnyville Welding is seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes on-site for ongoing projects. This role is critical in ensuring all work meets client specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing inspections, documentation, and field personnel in a fast-paced environment.

This position will begin immediately, travelling to site on October 31st. The crew works a 14/7 shift, 11 hour days.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all QA/QC activities on site
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
• Oversee inspections, testing, and documentation processes
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, clients, and third-party inspectors
• Develop, review and manage ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)
• Track and manage non-conformances (NCRs) and corrective actions
• Conduct audits and ensure continuous improvement of quality processes
• Develop and maintain project turnover in real-time using Blue Beam

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC experience in construction (oil & gas or industrial preferred)
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory QA/QC role
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (CSA, ASME, API, etc.)
• Experience with welding, fabrication, and/or pipeline projects is an asset
• Proficient in QA/QC documentation and reporting systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently

Certifications Required

• CWB Level 2
• Valid safety certifications: H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS 2015, CSO, LSE
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License with clean abstract
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
