Shop Welder
Journeyman Welder / Apprentice Welder (2nd–3rd Year)
Location: Bonnyville, AB
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8–9 hour days)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Journeyman Welder or a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Welder with proven experience to join our team in a structural steel fabrication shop. This is a steady, full-time position with consistent weekday hours and a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural welding in a shop environment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently (primarily MIG, FCAW, and/or stick)
- Fit and assemble structural components as required
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications
- Journeyman Welder certification OR 2nd/3rd Year Apprentice Welder
- Valid CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certification required
- Experience in structural steel fabrication preferred
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Physically capable of working in a shop environment

Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Operator with telehandler experience to join our team for a camp-based project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate telehandler and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Handle and move materials as required on site
- Follow site safety policies and procedures at all times
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a telehandler (required)
- Valid operator certifications/tickets
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to work in a camp environment on a 14/7 rotation
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Physically fit and able to work long hours in varying conditions
- H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test

- Experience in remote construction environments
- Additional equipment experience (skid steer, loader, etc.)
